Leaders at work. Leaders in life.

Purpose Statement: We prepare leaders who enable people and organizations to meet the needs of an ever-changing, complex world.

Corporations spend thousands training top executives to lead. We believe leadership starts now. We take students with a thirst for learning and create opportunities for them to develop into conscientious, innovative and effective leaders.

As a BNSF Neeley Leader, you will learn insightful ways to lead yourself, lead interpersonally, lead groups and teams, and lead organizations. You’ll forge deep connections with fellow Neeley Leaders through experiential learning including team retreats and international travel. During the junior year impact project, you will join other teams of Neeley Leaders to identify a need, locally or globally – then leverage everything you’re learning as a leader to make a real impact on that need.

“The Neeley Leadership Program gives you the power and tools to motivate others to lead, on and off campus. We learn about the psychology of leadership, and how to empower others and work with a team. Becoming a Neeley Leader is one of the best decisions I ever made at TCU.”

“People matter. In finance it’s easy to get bogged down with numbers, but business is about more than doing the job well. It’s about utilizing the people around you to make a bigger impact.”

Lead Organizations

Your impact project prepares you to lead change for the greater good. In 2023, the Impact Project Team pitched an initiative at Fort Worth City Hall, expressing the need, strategy and potential impact of creating an Office of Global Affairs for the City of Fort Worth, at Fort Worth City Hall in the City Council Chambers. The team’s proposal focused on the benefits of improving the quality of life for international residents and visitors, increasing foreign direct investment, and creating a vibrant cultural community. Additionally, the team worked alongside TCU Neeley alumnus Carol Capua ’00, chief of strategy and innovation of the City of Fort Worth.
