As the Fall 2025 graduating class prepares to take its next steps, three Neeley School of Business graduates exemplify what it means to combine determination, leadership and opportunity. From international journeys shaped by resilience to campus experiences grounded in community and mentorship, their paths reflect the many ways Neeley students turn ambition into impact.
Daniela Durán de Rosales ’25 MBA
Daniela Durán de Rosales began her MBA studies at the TCU Neeley School of Business with the START Workshop, an orientation program that introduces students to the academic and professional expectations of graduate business education.
During her time at Neeley, Durán de Rosales specialized in brand management, earned a certificate in business analytics and served as a graduate program student ambassador. She also participated in study abroad programs in Argentina and Chile, where she gained exposure to international business environments and global market perspectives.
“My entire Neeley journey has been fulfilling and unforgettable,” Durán de Rosales said. “One of my favorite experiences was the study abroad. I went to Argentina and Chile with my cohort and learned more about how business operates in different cultural and economic contexts.”
What’s next? Durán de Rosales is now a senior marketing analyst at FedEx Corp., where she’s applying her academic training and global experience in a corporate setting.
Stephen Cortez ’25
Stephen Cortez built his undergraduate experience at the TCU Neeley School of Business around community engagement, mentorship and professional development.
A finance major with a concentration in real estate, Cortez first connected with peers through TCU Veteran Services before expanding his involvement with the TCU Center for Real Estate and the Real Estate Club. Through the club’s mentorship program and professional networking opportunities, he strengthened his academic experience and prepared for the next stage of his career.
“My most memorable experience at TCU has been being part of the TCU Real Estate Club,” Cortez said. “The mentorship and professional connections provided a strong foundation that will support my future success.”
Following graduation, Cortez begins his career as a community sales manager with Graham Hart Home Builder and plans to pursue an MBA.
Adrian Péres ’25 MBA
For Adrian Péres, the path to graduation is an example of steady perseverance and determination.
Raised in a small village in Mexico, Péres lost his father at age 15 and faced uncertainty about whether he would be able to continue his education. With encouragement from his teachers and the support of his mother, he went on to complete two degrees in Mexico before an opportunity in the United States opened a new chapter.
After visiting family in the U.S., Péres began working in accounting and decided to pursue a long-held goal of earning a graduate degree abroad. He chose the TCU Neeley.
Adjusting to a new language, culture and academic environment, Péres progressed step by step through the MBA program. He earned MBA from Texas Christian University and is now working in a new role as a finance manager at Aquapools.
