The TCU Neeley School of Business offers Departmental Honors as a pathway of distinction for upper-division, business honors students.

Pursue your passions and reach new heights through self-defined signature work, designing your own project that explores a significant issue, problem or question. Our network of mentors and resources will support you, guiding you along your journey.

Through your immersive work, you’ll apply what you’ve learned to real-world situations and share your outcomes with others. You’ll earn both credit toward your degree and recognition at graduation.

How It Works

Start your journey with a one-hour Neeley Departmental Honors seminar in the spring of your junior year. Then, complete three hours of the Honors Project course with a professor over a course of up to two semesters. You can enroll for 1 to 3 credits each semester, allowing you to work at your own pace. You’ll need a total of 4 credits to complete Neeley Departmental Honors.

Who's Eligible?

Current Neeley juniors enrolled in the John V. Roach Honors College are eligible to enroll in the Neeley Departmental Honors seminar (BUSI 40301) in the spring of the junior year.
